GENERAL
The All Angels Foundation exists to “Transform lives through acts of love.” Its core pillars of elevating, empowering and healing seek to make a difference in the lives of our communities.
Our calling is to bring light and love to the world by providing grants to worthy organizations in our community that align with our pillars and the mission of Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church
Up until 2021, this entity was known as the Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Foundation of Dallas. The name was changed to All Angels Foundation to better serve Saint Michael and our neighboring communities.
All Angels Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
While closely aligned with Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, the All Angels Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The three angels depicted in the logo represent the Foundation’s outreach initiatives: Elevating, Empowering, Healing. The angels are shown with wings outspread symbolizing outreach to our community and the fulfillment of our mission to spread God’s love. The blues and greens are inspired by the ambry art of the Saint Michael’s altar.
All Angels Foundation is governed by a 15-member Board of Trustees, all of whom are volunteers from Saint Michael and All Angels, serving six-year terms. Each trustee must be in good standing with the parish, receive approval from the vestry, and be elected by the parish.
Our grants focus on three areas, guided by our three Pillars: Elevating, Empowering and Healing. Our pillars represent our strategic focus on efforts toward improving our community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our fellow citizens. Unless a donor specifies otherwise, the Foundation will not make grants to fund the operating budget of the church.
Each year of the lease, 15% of the total income received will be earmarked toward general church operation costs. The other 85% will be held by the Foundation, of which 60% (or 51% of the total) will be earmarked as Horizon Fund grants for outreach, increasing Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church’s impact in the community every year. Up to 4% of the Fund’s value may be distributed annually.
Unless a donor specifies otherwise, The Foundation distributes only income earned on its funds. It maintains the corpus as a continuing legacy.
The Women of Saint Michael (WOSM) Gifts Committee focuses its giving on grants which help to stabilize and/or empower those living in poverty in Dallas County. GRANTS
Our application process is by invitation only. We encourage you to reach out to our Grants committee by contacting us by emailing grants@allangelsfoundation.org (mailto:grants@allangelsfoundation.org)with information about your organization. If your organization is eligible, you will be contacted by us to submit further information.
Applications can be received throughout the year, and grants are reviewed and funded twice a year.
Spring Cycle: Applications Due on April 25, 2025

Grants awarded are typically between $15,000 and $40,000 one-time grants with discussions for potential ongoing grants.
We do not fund scholarships, events, individuals or families, political candidates, or lobbyists, fraternal or social groups, or athletic teams. The All Angels Foundation does not fund organizations that discriminate based on age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, physical ability, sexual orientation, and political beliefs.
The All Angels Foundation prefers to support organizations serving our local community in North Texas, but we welcome regional and national organizations. Special consideration is given to organizations serving peace and caregiving in Jerusalem in partnership with the Anglican/Episcopal presence there.
GIFTS
You may designate All Angels Foundation through through vehicles such as wills, trusts, annuities, life insurance policies, donor-advised funds, or beneficiary designations on 401(k) and other retirement accounts. All gifts are independently managed and invested by the foundation.
The All Angels Foundation is proud of its efforts in funding worthy organizations and causes in the DFW community. Thus, it will proudly and faithfully steward the funds of any entity (corporate or individual) aligned with our granting philosophy.
Yes. Your gift can be restricted or unrestricted.
Although revisiting your will on a regular basis is a good idea, it is possible to make a bequest without completely redoing your will. Consulting your estate attorney in conjunction with the Foundation’s resources will provide appropriate guidance.
